If you encounter a bug specifically related to interactions with the DApp or smart contracts, please report it to help us identify and resolve the issue effectively. Follow the steps below and include the additional smart contract-related information to assist us in troubleshooting.
How to Report a Bug
To report a bug, send an email to contact@depinify.io with the following details:
Subject: Clearly state “Bug Report - DApp/Smart Contract” and include a brief description (e.g., "Bug Report: Issue with Contract Interaction in API Market").
Description: Provide a detailed description of the issue, including:
The action you were trying to complete within the DApp or smart contract (e.g., deploying a node, calling a function, etc.).
Expected behavior vs. actual behavior.
Any error messages or transaction hashes if available.
Steps to Reproduce: List the steps to reproduce the issue, focusing on specific actions within the DApp. This helps us understand how the issue occurred and replicate it on our end. For example:
Step 1: Open the DApp and navigate to the “API Market” section.
Step 2: Select “Become an API Provider” and fill in required fields.
Step 3: Click “Submit,” and observe the error or failed transaction.
Screenshots/Screen Recordings: Attach any relevant screenshots or screen recordings that demonstrate the issue. For smart contract interactions, attach any Etherscan links, error messages, or failed transaction receipts.
Technical Details for Smart Contract Issues:
Transaction Hash: If the error occurred during a blockchain transaction, provide the transaction hash. This helps us trace the transaction on the blockchain.
Contract Address: Mention the smart contract address involved (e.g., Oracle, ZtControl, DEPNToken, etc.).
Network: Specify the network you were using (e.g., Sepolia Testnet, Ethereum Mainnet).
Wallet: Indicate the type of wallet and version used (e.g., MetaMask 10.8.1).
Gas Used: If available, provide gas used or gas limit set for the transaction.
Environment:
Device: Indicate if you’re using a desktop, mobile, or tablet.
Operating System: Specify the OS (e.g., Windows, macOS, Android, iOS).
Browser: Mention the browser and version (e.g., Chrome 95, Safari 14).
Network Connection: Mention if you were on a specific network environment (e.g., VPN, corporate network).
Contact Information: Include your preferred contact details if we need to follow up with additional questions.
