Integraion
The Serverless section in the DApp is designed to manage and interact with decentralized resources such as hosts, providers, and actors. This section also includes marketplaces for providers and actors, allowing users to add new entities as required.
1. Hosts
The Hosts tab displays a list of available hosts within the serverless network. Hosts represent the foundational infrastructure that supports the decentralized applications and services.
Features:
Host Information: View details about each host, including its status and availability.
Resource Monitoring: Enables users to monitor the network's active hosts.
This section provides an overview of the decentralized infrastructure and helps in assessing resource distribution across the network.
2. Providers
The Providers tab lists all active providers within the serverless environment. Providers are entities responsible for delivering various services or resources, such as compute power or storage, to the network.
Features:
Provider Details: Each provider entry displays information such as its name, version, and capabilities.
Resource Availability: Users can check which providers are currently accessible in the network.
This tab helps users track service providers, enabling efficient allocation of resources.
3. Actors
The Actors tab showcases all active actors in the serverless system. Actors are responsible for executing tasks or functions within the decentralized environment, often collaborating with providers to deliver services.
Features:
Actor Information: Each entry provides details on the actor's identity, capabilities, and version.
Role Management: Users can understand the functional roles played by different actors in the serverless system.
This section is essential for monitoring active agents in the network, ensuring tasks are distributed effectively.
4. Providers Market
The Providers Market allows users to add new providers to the network, expanding the capabilities and resources available in the serverless environment.
Adding a New Provider:
Click New Provider to open the provider submission form.
Enter the following details:
Name: Name of the provider.
Version: Version information.
OCI: Open Container Initiative (OCI) identifier.
Capabilities: List of capabilities, such as specific resources or services provided.
Smithy: Additional configuration or scripting details.
The Providers Market supports network growth by enabling users to onboard new providers that can contribute resources and services to the decentralized ecosystem.
5. Actors Market
The Actors Market is a space for users to add new actors to the network, enhancing the range of functions that can be performed within the serverless environment.
Adding a New Actor:
Click New Actor to open the actor submission form.
Fill in the following fields:
Name: Name of the actor.
Version: Version details for compatibility and updates.
OCI: Open Container Initiative (OCI) identifier.
Capabilities: Define the actor’s capabilities or tasks it can perform.
The Actors Market allows users to bring in new operational roles, ensuring that tasks and services can scale with demand across the decentralized network.
Key Benefits of the Serverless Section:
Resource Management: Hosts, providers, and actors offer a structured view of the resources available within the decentralized system.
Scalability: Providers and Actors Markets support seamless expansion of resources and roles, fostering a dynamic and adaptable ecosystem.
Decentralized Control: The serverless framework enables resource allocation and task management without reliance on central servers, enhancing security and resilience.
